Tanya Williams (Miss T.) is a songwriter and radio personality (formerly Tahari London on The London Lockdown - The Right Mix of New & Old School R&B on Jungle773.com) whose music is only limited by her imagination as she is not married to any specific genre.  Her writing licks the foundations of contemporary and classic R&B, rock, pop, jazz, gospel, blues and so much more.  Tanya was born into and influenced by a rich musical family legacy of singers, drummers, trumpeters, and a pianist who entertained the troops in World War II.  She was also inspired by her father’s lush collection of legendary greats – Sam Cooke, Billie Holiday, Sarah Vaughn, Queen, Joe Williams, Ella Fitzgerald, Earth, Wind & Fire, KISS, and many more.

She is currently featured on the single End Times as a singer, one she co-wrote and helped produce.

She studied voice at the acclaimed Settlement Music School and in the early 1990s formed several local R&B/pop music groups including Philly Style and Shades of Faith, making appearances at regional events and performing for radio-sponsored events including Philadelphia's Power 99 FM’s annual talent showcase. She also sang backup for a popular New Jersey-bred rock band.

As a member of Unity & Praise, Tanya sang and toured with contemporary Christian music artists Steve Middleton and Unity & Praise, whose album, Praises from the Soul, steadily climbed the Billboard Music charts and was nominated for a Stellar Award.  She also toured with Temple University Gospel Choir.  She has graced the stage with international opera icons as a supernumerary with Opera Philly (f/k/a Opera Company of Philadelphia) for performances such as Faust, Aida, and Porgy & Bess at the historic Academy of Music.

Tanya briefly left the music scene to focus on family. But the music never left her heart…or her pen!  She feels extremely blessed to be back in the mix full-time doing what she loves - writing music! She is currently working with artists, producers,  and other songwriters on future releases.

She also assists with various productions and events alongside singer/songwriter Ashley Scott - Board of Governor of the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences - Philadelphia chapter and CEO of Philash Entertainment Group and Rasheed "Lox" Knox of The Artists United. Along with growing her song catalog, her future aspirations include establishing her own entertainment company.
